For my double page spread, I constructed an interview with a magazine interviewer for City Sound and Ophelia herself. During the start of the interview, I wanted there to be an obvious relaxed and comfortable relationship between the two individuals. During this, I ensured the interviewer expressed her excitement for Ophelia's upcoming album and music performances. Questions asked consisted of music, due to the genre and theme of my magazine, it also featured questions about lifestyle and fashion as from the start of creating City Sound I thought it was appropriate to have some aspects of the magazine generally about the lifestyle and fashion trends my TA would have. This would ensure more people are willing to read and maintain an interest. My TA being the aspirers, stereotypically caring for themselves and the materialistic competitions young adults have, their priorities were covered within the questions for their interest. Questions like this featured as quick fire questions to vary the trending pace throughout, this added an aspect of fun and enjoyment, quick facts were included as I know my target audience would enjoy reading.
I wanted to state the fact that my artist is a very down to earth, humble and normal individual who hasn't adapted into a dramatic celebrity due to fame. I achieved this by stating that she is just like a normal teenager, not knowing what the future would hold and that she was noticed via the internet - again being a prioritised interest of my TA. Towards the end of the interview, the interviewer asks Ophelia if she has any tips for aspiring artists or the general readers. I wrote for Ophelia to reply "Not to be afraid of sharing your talent, you don't know who is watching, so don't be afraid to be a risk-taker"; I thought this was an appropriate and memorable quote to finish the interview on, having a positive and motivating quote like this would effect my readers in an influencing way. Especially because I understand that the age of my TA wouldn't always necessarily have confidence. "Don't be afraid to be a risk-taker" will be the main quote I use to spotlight and make the focal point of the interview as well as the actual DPS. I will make the quote larger and in the middle of the page to ensure it dominates the compositional layout, is remembered and influences my target audience readers. Below is the complete DPS interview I will use.
